Fair Use Policy

Sera · Operated by Jeni Sanderson trading as Moderari Studio
Last updated: April 2026 · Version 1.0

Why this policy exists

Sera uses AI to process your brain dump. Each session costs us a small amount to run. Our subscription pricing is designed around typical usage — someone doing one or two brain dumps a day as part of a regular routine.

We want the tool to be genuinely useful, not artificially limited. But we also need it to remain sustainable so we can keep developing it and keep it affordable for everyone.

What fair use looks like

A typical subscriber uses the Sera once or twice a day during busy or stressful periods, a few times a week as a regular reset, or occasionally for a bigger life or work planning session. This is exactly what the tool is designed for.

Session limits

1
Free tier
session total
30

per month

The monthly limit resets on the 1st of each month. If you reach your monthly limit, the tool will let you know and invite you to come back when it resets on the 1st. Your account is unaffected and your previous output is still available if you saved or downloaded it.

30 sessions per month — far more than most people will ever use. The tool is designed for meaningful reflection, not rapid-fire use.

What counts as a session

A session is one brain dump processed through the tool — from input to sorted output. Starting a session and closing the browser before the output appears still counts as a session if AI processing has begun.

Automated or abusive use

The following are not permitted under any subscription tier:

Accounts found to be using the tool in these ways may be suspended without refund.

If your needs are higher

If you're a coach, therapist or wellbeing professional who wants to use the tool with clients, or if you have a genuine need for higher usage, please get in touch. We're happy to discuss what's possible.
